RESULTS Canada 2016 Conference: Voices that Change the World

The RESULTS Canada National Conference is a biennial event that brings together Canadians, global experts, seasoned advocates and key decision-makers to learn, inspire and empower participants to create a more just world.

The 2016 Conference, Voices that Change the World, comes at a critical time for Canadians. This edition is influenced by new global, national and organizational opportunities for social change:

  • The world recently adopted its next 15-year poverty eradication plan—the Sustainable Development Goals
  • Canada’s newly-elected Parliament provides an opportunity to educate and inspire Canadians to engage with their members of Parliament and generate momentum to end extreme poverty
  • RESULTS Canada has a proud history of successful advocacy and in 2016 will be celebrating 30 years of influencing Canadian decision-makers on issues that help eliminate extreme poverty around the world
