Textbooks for change Textbook drive

 50% of donated textbooks are donated to African colleges and universities, and 20% are resold, funding initiatives by both Wish Youth Network Society Waterloo and Textbooks for Change.

Wish Youth Network Society Waterloo (WYNS) is partnering with Textbooks for Change to hold our first TEXTBOOK DRIVE during the months of March and April in the Waterloo region!

The drive will be running from March 23, 2016 to April 17th, 2016


The 3rd Annual Beyond the Professoriate: The Career Conference for PhDs
When: May 7th and 14th

For graduate students and recent PhDs from STEM, social sciences, and humanities disciplines. During this two-day online event, attendees will hear from doctoral-degree holders who successfully transitioned to work beyond the professoriate and learn job search strategies from career education professionals

Global Mennonite Peacebuilding Conference 

The Global Mennonite Peacebuilding conference and festival will be taking place at Conrad Grebel on June 9-12, 2016. The event will bring about 200 peace practitioners, scholars, church workers, and artists to offer workshops, storytelling, and papers on Anabaptist-Mennonite peacebuilding.  The festival will include a music concert, art exhibits, and original play by Theatre of the Beat.

RESULTS Canada 2016 Conference: Voices that Change the World

The RESULTS Canada National Conference is a biennial event that brings together Canadians, global experts, seasoned advocates and key decision-makers to learn, inspire and empower participants to create a more just world.

The 2016 Conference, Voices that Change the World, comes at a critical time for Canadians. This edition is influenced by new global, national and organizational opportunities for social change:
